Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2010-Windows

I bought this item thinking I was getting a great deal on a full version. There was nothing in the description or on the box that said anything different. When I loaded it on my computer it said you have 46 days remaining. It is nothing but a trial version. When you look in the booklet inside the box it says it came from best buy. My guess is these sellers got them out of the dumpster. But have faith not all market place sellers are thieves but a lot of them are.

I bought this from a person who failed to mention that their one year of virus protection was actually only good for an eight month period. Even though the package was shrinkwrapped, make sure when buying this product for the length listed that it is actually what you are getting.

I have a 2002 computer, Windows XP home ed. I like anti-virus software better than the internet security suite because the suite drastically slows browsing speed. I uninstalled security suite because of this. What I dont like is that I find, like the other reviewers, that the product is not a full yrs coverage when purchasing from a 3rd party. The reason for this, I believe though hasnt been proven, is that the software is automatically activated by Kaspersky when the original owner bought a product at Best Buy that this software came with complimentary or that they purchased separately. This is done so that Kaspersky can get their money as they must be aware that ppl sell their product for cut rate on sites like eBay. As a result of this, there is really nothing the original purchaser can do other than sell this at a very low rate. I usually dont pay more than $10. Other than that, it works great on my computer. Browsing is a breeze, and no more viruses. Though I do still get spyware hung up in my email that sends fake emails to my contact list. I think security suite might fix this problem, but it is too slow.

for the price its a very good one, I loved it and its protect my computer very well but you may have to renew it before the expiration date by about a month because it doesnt work well when the expiration date approuche
