> 3 daySeems well made except for the stamped metal. It seems strong enough, but the edges are sharp and will eventually rub through the web strap if you were using this for an axle strap.

> 3 dayI wish I had bought this long ago, such a critical piece of equipment for off roading. Shipped fast, packaged well and have absolutely zero complaints, very well built and strong.

> 3 dayI use two of these as safeties for tying down a UTV on my trailer. Its strapped down by the tires, but these are added front and back as safeties, front and back, to act as retainers in case for any reason the other straps loosen up. Im a fanatic about ensuring things dont unexpectedly happen back there on the trailer, so these provide peace of mind. As axle straps, they are super thick webbing, and have a wrap over the web strap to provide durability when used as tiedowns. They just feel heavy duty and I would trust these for anything within their rating.

> 3 dayI purchased this item to anchor a come-along as I was pulling roots from the ground for a hedge I recently cut down. It held fast and inspired the confidence to develop up to two tons of pulling force. Got the job done without incident.

> 3 dayUsed to hook up a comealong to the front radiator brace in my Acura to pull it out 4 inches, did not stretch under 2 tons of pulling..

> 3 dayStrong, handy item for all my towing needs. Ive used this to pull down trees Im cutting and pull bushes out by the roots. Saves me a lot of digging and makes the tree cutting safer. (dont pull straight on the tree.....it will hit your truck, run your chain around another tree so you are driving away from the direction of the fall. Obvious, but ya never know)

> 3 dayI use to pull things up to the loft in my garage and it works well. Only shortcoming is not long enough. 36 inches seems like a good size, but since it has to go on both sides of an object you get 18 inches at best

> 3 dayI bought a tire rack and mounted it higher than I can lift the heavy tires (safely) due to space constraints. To get them up there I bought an electric hoist and use these to attach the tires. The length is perfect and the ends of the strap both fit in the hook of the hoist. I understand why the ends are bare metal, but I will likely wrap tape around them to protect the rims when feeding them through.
