Because its not a brand name advertised on TV, yet as far as I can tell the same product as Alien Tape, you will save a lot of money using it. As to why the product is so good. - Its because I can avoid drilling holes in my wood paneled walls. Also useful for bathroom tile because you dont want to drill holes in your shower walls.

The glue is amazing, holds perfectly and quite a bit of weight too! However, the damn plastic covering the glue is such a BITCH to get off, an easy project easily turned into hours because of how long it took to remove! Some kind of tab feature for the tape would work soooooo good!

I love how thick this double sided tape is. I attached a small lock box to the side of a mini fridge and it’s working perfectly!

Used this product to hang posters. Had previously used a different product, and all the posters fell down in a day. Tried again with this product and it REALLY WORKS! The aggressive was so strong that we attempted to hang a cork board as well... Its only been a day, but its still attached to the wall so I consider this a WIN!

This stuff sticks REALLY well, if you dont have cheap paint I definetly recommend. If you live in a dorm, be sure to buy paint, this stuff ripped the paint right off of the walls.

I used this to try to fasten a small metal frame to a painted wall. (Specifically, I was trying to re-mount a toilet tissue holder that had pulled out of the drywall.) The tape box states that it is unsuitable for painted surfaces, so that’s on me. I mistakenly thought that the issue would be that the tape might not be easy to remove (i.e., that it might disfigure the wall). However, after trying it, I found that it just doesn’t have much sticking power. When I used it, it may have lasted one day. Also, the backing (that exposes the adhesive on the non-sticky side) is extremely difficult to remove. I was very disappointed, and I will likely try again, using “Alien Tape”, which is more expensive.
