I use this professionally to measure outdoor home improvements and am used to these tapes not lasting even a year. I decided to splurge and try a steel tape this time. Definitely heavier than the standard tape, although not so heavy as to be uncomfortable. Definitely a lot more expensive too, at about triple the price. I dont love the end as it wont hook on to all surfaces when Im measuring by myself, so that could stand some improvement. I will say that it has yet to get tangled and the reel works flawlessly. Keson is the gold standard for tapes and wheels though, so Im hopeful this will last well, fingers crossed.
