> 24 hourWell, my 1980s spool of Radio Shack solder is just about used up. About four wraps left. Time for a new roll. This product is what you would expect for the price you pay. It isnt cheap, but you get what you pay for. Kester is known for a quality product and that is what you get. Since the old spool of Radio Shack solder lasted so many years, I expect I will have to put this roll of Kester in my will. The kids will probably fight over it.

> 24 hourI have used solder of all types for over 50 years, tried many brands in that time. Kester solder has always proved to be the best to use. Found it is the best flowing and ability to properly adhere to object being soldered. No cold solder joints! Would recommend any of Kester solder types.

> 24 hourI’ve bought 2 different rolls of solder that clumped up and didn’t flow well at all. I bought this and it flows great! Definitely worth the money, you’ll have it forever because there is so much. You won’t need to buy solder for years, and as I said it flows really really well.

> 24 hourIve struggled with soldering USB-C ports on multiple occasions. Cheap solder likes to lump up and not flow properly. This caused shorts on a couple of my PCBs. When I switched to this solder, I was surprised how easy it was to work with. Ill never use a different kind of solder again.

> 24 hourAfter having great disappointment from buying those cheap Chinese brands solders. I decided that I would get a reputable brand even though it is more expensive but you get what you pay for. A high-grade solder that will improve your soldering technique.

> 24 hourDisclaimer: I am NOT an electrical technician, but I pretend to be one around our place, cuz Im basically a cheap SOB and hate paying someone to fix stuff that I think I can do myself. Im also married to a woman that I cautiously refer to as Tool Killer Jones, cuz if its got a motor or an engine, trigger or a switch, shell find a way to use it for something it was never intended for and eventually itll end up on my bench. That said, where oh where has this stuff been all of my life? Recently added a REAL soldering station to my arsenal, but discovering Kester solder has been the icing on the cake. I dont want to encourage them to charge any more for it, but even with the little bits that I use in a year, I can see no reason to bother with anything else. Lifes too short, and time wasted fooling with the cheap stuff is something I will never get back - for any amount of money, so Kester it is.
