> 3 dayI can work with this at 250 Celsius and it works amazing on both SMD and Thru-Hole packages. The finish is very shiny and the eutectic nature of the alloy gives very clean finishes. The 1.1% flux is alright but using additional flux is very helpful because the flux in the solder evaporates quickly. Note for SMD soldering, 0603 packages is the smallest you should be soldering with this (mainly what I solder), its doable but even then you need to be careful to not apply too much. For smaller packages it is too big, for thru-holes its perfect. Overall brilliant product, absolute must have for hobbyists.

> 3 dayThis is an identical brand and part number that I can get at DigiKey for twice the price. Well worth it just to buy here. This is leaded so you run it colder than lead-less, 650 degrees, which works way better on thin tip Weller guns IMHO without the tip getting so hot it stopping wicking. There is enough tinning in the solder itself you dont have to pre-tin pen your PCBs. The solder is also thin, which makes fine work possible. I would work on a microprocessor and any little 1mm x 2mm resistors with no problem with this solder. This is a quality name brand at a good price.

Greater than one weekThis is far and away the cheapest retail for this product. I needed quality no-clean solder fast, and Amazon delivered. Im accustomed to using 2% or 3% flux, so I did have to turn the temperature up a bit on my iron, but it flows very smoothly. I am very pleased with my projects so far. Yes, there is a bit of cleaning afterward, certainly nothing like cleaning rosin flux for hours.

> 3 dayMelts like butter at around 200 C and wets like water. Amazing solder and with a hefty 1 pound spool, its gonna last for ages if you solder infrequently.
