holds my kestrel perfect. now i can keep it safe for those off hours in the field so i can play snake on my 5500 ballistics model.

Works good for intended use, but it is very tight on the unit. Almost tight enough that I wonder how much protection is lost with how tight it is on the unit

Very well made. Kestrel fits perfectly. Seems like it offers a lot of protection. Maybe a little pricey, but am happy to support American made companies and willing to pay a little extra for the increase in manufacturing quality.

This is a very well-made case for the Kestrel instrument. The Kestrel fits perfectly inside and the sides of the case are reinforced with rigid material. The zipper is oversized for the scale of the case and works well. You spent hundreds of dollars on a Kestrel, so it makes sense to protect it from dirt, sand, rain and snow. This case will do the job. And yes, its made in the USA.

Using the Kestrel Elite. Fits snugly with ample padding to protect it. Zipper is great quality and smooth. Not one of the catching difficult to open ones. Anything Armageddon gear is outstanding quality.
