> 24 hourThe case is fine but transferring the key part is a bit more of an issue. There is a video on u tube you should watch before buying.

> 24 hourI purchased this because the lock button on my GMC key broke off. When I received the new fob, I took apart my old fob, moved the board and key from the old fob to the new one. After getting everything put back together, what I found is that the key no longer closes all the way and does not securely lock in place (I can flip it open without using the button just by shaking the key). It also does not lock open either. I didnt give it a 1 star because the lock/unlock buttons work, but this is nowhere near the quality of the stock fob and if I was planning on keeping this car longer than another month or two, Id be looking for a new key. I would not recommend this AT ALL.

> 24 hourUnit will not snap together, so metal key will not go in place. Use looks of black electrical tape to keep together.

> 24 hourVery good replacement. Local locksmith wanted $150 for a new fob. Key pokes out a bit not that great of a fit. But works fine. Does the job for 8 bucks I ended up paying. Saved 142 dollars. Worth it.

> 24 hourHardest part is splitting the old case without damaging the circuit board. Use u-tube.

> 24 hourI read the reviews and it helped with reassembly. I took the circuit board out of my remote missing buttons and put it in this shell. I moved the original switchblade key to the new shell. The key button on the new one is smaller than the original so I had to drill out the button hole in the new one and trim out the grooves inside to get it to work properly. But it does work and I’m back in business. It saved buying a new remote and having a locksmith cut the key and program the remote. Good value if you know up front it’s not OEM quality. It does what it’s supposed to do.

> 24 hourWaste of money they poorly made this with the cheapest materials. Very poorly made! Broke into a pieces when I tried to put a new battery in couldnt figure out how to put it back together so I bought a different one that actually worked from a different company this was like a happy meal toy! Very disappointed. If I hadnt lost 2 of the pieces I would have sent this right back!

> 24 hourIt did not fit exactly to my GMC TERRAIN. 2011. I had to do some cutting with a knife inside the case. After that I had to get the key bar cut but it did not start the car. At the end I realized I could break only the pin that holds the key bar and switch them over with the the old key. Finally worked without having to reprogram the chip.
