Key Fob Keyless Entry Remote Flip Shell Case & Pad fits Chevy 2010-2017 Equinox / 2012-2017 Sonic/GMC 2010-2017 Terrain

This item was not for my car. Nor do it has a motherboard in it.

Hard to take apart to put in chip and change out key. Key spring (return) is not there.

Easy to switch out once you get it apart

Just swapped out parts was easy 5 minutes at the most

Well key does not open with the enthusiasm as the original despite tensioning the spring two winds. I did not take it apart to do a third because it does not want to stay locked closed. Also I have to use my old plastic Pivot and enlarge the hole in the case. Not sure why the new one didnt work as they looked the same but obviously there is a difference. I need one more but not sure Ill order this brand.

These sellers keep describing these remotes saying they work for certain vehicles when they dont! Amazon should put a stop to this! This is the third one Ive purchased with the seller saying it works for my vehicle and all it does is waste my time, on this one I pretty much destroyed my original remote and had to use the replacement, so now I have a remote with the key out all the time! SMH!
