> 24 hourI broke my car key before and was missing the back and a rubber piece. I just took it from this one and put it into my old key.

> 24 hourThis worked very well - removed the transmitter from the old key fob, and put it in this new one. Note that the new shell has a key blank permanently attached - youll have to have a locksmith copy your old key by cutting the new one in the new shell.

> 24 hourI bought a Honda Pilot but it only came with a valet key and a remote. I later found out the remote used to be a key but the blade broke off! I only found this out after paying $180 to have a new key made at the dealership. So I took a chance and bought this... When I got it I took apart the old one and transferred the circuit board, but found that it didnt quite fit right and wasnt getting power from the battery. Thankfully the old housing and buttons fit right in this new shell! I ended up taking the blank key back to the Honda dealership to have them cut it using my VIN. The guy at the parts counter told her it was $25 to cut the key. Once he realized this was an aftermarket key, he warned me it might not work and said because of that he wouldnt charge me. Well... IT WORKED! So for around $14 total after getting a new battery, I managed to get myself a second key for my Pilot! Im very pleased with this key blade and shell!

> 24 hourThe casing is missing the hole for the trunk release button and the push buttons are about as cheap as it gets. Do not buy. Get another brand or better yet, stop being cheap like me and go to your dealership.
