The keyboard looks, feel and sound all seem premium, which is amazing considering the price. For the same quality, I would have paid much more than the price of this keyboard.

Many of my keys wouldnt register. Luckily it was a gift and Amazon approved my return. Going to get a replacement.

Just received my Keychron K8 Pro with Gateron red pro switches and I have got to say it is an amazing keyboard. Going from a Logitech G512 Carbon with their blue switches to this keyboard is great! I was very easy to setup with Via and the unboxing experience was pleasant. So far the only downside if the lack of wrist rest but that is not the keyboards problem. I would highly recommend this keyboard to anyone looking for a new keyboard!

I dont do reviews too often. I have been on a hunt for a keyboard for far too long now. This is a nice beefy keyboard in terms of size and weight. Everything feels very high quality. I also really like the lighting effects and quality. I was a little worried that with the different key colors that you wouldnt be able to see the lighting as well, but the lights really shine through very clearly and they have some very high quality lighting effects. The bluetooth connectivity is excellent and the quick swap works perfectly. I am not a keyboard enthusiast so I cant really comment on the sound, which somehow is the most important thing to so many people for some reason. It does not feel like a cheap sound. This is going to be the keyboard I settle on, but there were a few things that I was not a fan of. Firstly, the keyboard is huge and sturdy, which is nice, but its just too tall. This keyboard pretty much calls for wrist support. Secondly, if I am spending all of this money, there is no reason why this keyboard should have ABS plastic plates on the back. It still feels just as sturdy as an aluminum plate, but it just feels like it is missing a simple premium feature. Finally, I think the color scheme is stupid. Its just not very appealing, which can be fixed, but then youll be spending even more money on keycaps when you already spent money on premium keycaps on this keyboard. No deal breakers, but I try to be objective. Its a fantastic keyboard, one of the best I have ever owned, but its short of perfect. Despite all that, I feel comfortable reviewing it as 5 stars.

Its my first customizable and lubbed switch. I liked all the things, keycaps, red lubbed switches, and customizable QMK. Definitely recommend buying one if youre looking for a keyboard. I didnt feel any input lag on mac.

I was a bit surprised by the weight of the keyboard, hadnt realized how much I tend to move my keyboard around. But this one wants to stay put; thats a good thing for me, it actually forced me into better typing habits. The key action is so much better then any of my other non-mechanical keyboards. Ill not be going back to my wireless Logitech which I really liked. Initially I was very disappointed that I couldnt use VIA. Tried all sorts of troubleshooting, followed directions from the Keychron site (which was a little hard to follow for the K8 Pro). I contacted Keychron support and they responded fairly quickly, telling me that I didnt have to use the JSON file (which also wasnt a simple find) as described on their site (wish they would update the site and make it easier to find this info). And the VIA site doesnt have the keyboard listed as a supported device. The last bit of advice I got was to try on a different computer. I was using the keyboard with a system running Ubuntu 22.04, and the latest available version of Chrome installed. On the Keychron site it indicates VIA compatibility with Mac, Windows, and Linux. Apparently that isnt the case. Taking Keychrons support advice I tried on a different system, a Mac. VIA worked without a problem. As support said I didnt event have to load a JSON, it was simply recognized. I dont have a Windows system handy at this time so cant say if it works there or not. So glad VIA worked because one of the reasons I got the keyboard was VIA and the ability to reprogram the keys (but was expecting to be able to do that from any of my systems). I mainly switch between Mac and Linux boxes and I really dont like some of the Mac keyboard layouts. Still a bit disappointed but it isnt as big of a deal since I have at least one system I know I can use to reprogram the board. Not sure of the battery life, Ive not had it unplugged for long enough to really exercise the battery to give much feed back on that. I did use it in wireless mode (and not plugged in) with one of the light features enabled for about 8 hours. Using Fn-B at the end of the work day showed the battery still at 100%. I didnt really expect it to show any dip in charge for that short period, so it is good that it met that expectation. I switch between Bluetooth and wired connections, and between Mac and Windows/Android configuration somewhat frequently throughout the day. It is was a bit annoying having to flip the mechanical switches, I wish I could do it with a key or key combination. It was a bit aggravating at first but it doesnt take too long to get used to. It is great I can change the Bluetooth channels with keys but I still have to use a wired connection for a Linux system that doesnt have Bluetooth (need to find a compatible dongle for it). I think one more Bluetooth channel would be good too. I had thought that the 80% keyboard was plenty but now realize that I miss the keypad of my old keyboard. I do like the feeling of typing with this keyboard, maybe it is just in my head but it even feels a bit faster to type with. It could be the feedback of the brown switches over the mushy feel of my other keyboards. Im still within the return period and thinking about returning for a the full-sized K10 keyboard that has the keypad and is priced the same as the k8 pro. Overall good, but minus a start for the issue with VIA on Linux, the bad Keychron site, and having to use mechanical switches for Win/Android & Mac layout, and wire/wireless mode. Im hoping the switches can survive the constant use (I havent disassembled the board so dont know if they are easily replaced if they break).

Me gusta mucho este teclado (switch marrón), sin quejas, producto enviado a Perú, llegó 4 días antes de la fecha estimada. De momento solo lo estoy probando de forma cableada, aun no he probado el bluetooth, el rgb está bien.
