What a great idea. Perfect for potty training, or even for adults who need reminding to get up and stand and stretch every 30 minutes. Who comes up with these great ideas? Potty training made fun. It even helps your toddler feel like a grown-up with a fancy watch. The watch is easy to set. The instructions that came with the watch suggest watching a video on their website, which was very helpful. The watch has a large face and big, bold numbers, so it is easy to see. A great fun watch. Hopefully it will be successful. Time will tell.

This watch is easy to use and has exactly the right amount of options needed for potty training. The digital display is large and easy to read. It has several alarm options-- buzz, song or both at the same time. The alarm frequency can be set at various intervals as short as fifteen minutes or as long as three hours. I really like that the alarm automatically restarts itself so that I dont have to remember to start a new alarm each time my son uses the potty. I also like that it is possible to see how much battery life is left just by scrolling through options. The battery charges quickly, in under a half hour, and lasts several days. I also like that this is water resistant so that it can be worn during hand washing without breaking. While the watch is certainly helpful, there are few things I wish were improved. The first thing is that in order to charge it, I have to peel back the silicone band to access the standard USB port. The first time I did this, I pulled more of the band off than perhaps should have been. The band tore a bit at the side where it is glued to the watch. It still works fine, but I think a magnetic charger would be a better option for making this watch water resistant and easier to charge. The other issue I have with this watch is that in comparison to other toddler watches, this is big and bulky. It is uncomfortable for my three-year-old. In fact, it is large enough to fit an adult. Because of its size, I think this would be better for an older child who is struggling with remembering to use the bathroom than for toddlers or preschoolers who are first potty training. It would work well for parents to wear as a reminder to encourage a child to use the bathroom regularly.

So the idea behind the product is interesting. This is meant to be used as a reminded for a toddler or young child to get into a regular routine of using the bathroom. Even if a kid doesnt necessarily have to go to the bathroom, its good to get them used to trying to use the toilet during the toilet training part of their lives. So the watch itself is useful in reminding the child to use the bathroom, but it definitely takes awhile to get them to understand what the watch actually means. The watchs quality overall is very nice though. I think itll take a good amount of abuse to get my kid to do any damage to it. So this might work well for some, and maybe not so much for others. I think itll really depend on how ones kid takes to it.

This is a pretty nice little watch for kids - easy to read, easy to set up (once you read the directions), and not all that easy to mess up with random button pushing. Most of the setting operations take a fairly long button press to initiate, and its unlikely your kid will do it by accident. Theres one mode page that has no explanation in the manual, and Im not really sure what it does, I think maybe shows the battery level. Speaking of which, the listing claims magnetic charging, but this just uses a standard micro USB cable to charge. Theres a couple of things Im not crazy about though. First, the display shuts off pretty quickly and needs a button press to turn on. It would be nice if it just stayed on. Second, the band is pretty big. Given that its aimed at potty training, it should be sized to fit the average toddler. I have a well above average not-quite-3 year old, and I had to tighten this to the 2nd notch from the max. My wife can wear it with no problem. It wouldnt be the worst thing for adults that need a reminder every 15mins to 2 hours, maybe to get up from your desk and stretch, walk around, etc. As to how well it works for potty training, we shall see. This review is for: Kidnovations Square Button Potty Training Watch The watch arrives in a nice box. Theres online video instructions which Id recommend, because the included instructions are in a very tiny typeface and not entirely accurate. For example, the instructions for charging say to peel back the band at the TOP of the watch face, but it is really the BOTTOM of the watch face. If you peel from the top it wont work! The listing claims it is magnetic charging, but that is a lie. It is plug in charging, and you have to peel back the silicone band to access the charging port. After multiple times of this the band is going to get stretched out and no longer fit well. The watch face and the watch itself is way too large for a preschool childs wrist. Although the band tightens down to a small size, the watch face rests slightly over the top of the hand and can inhibit full movement of the hand. For children sensitive to things that dont fit right, the need to constantly push the watch up the arm, or have it too tight on the wrist so it wont slip forward over the top of the hand, could be irritating.

This potty training watch works well for the intended purpose, but in addition to that, it makes my son more excited because it looks like a smart watch, according to him. I think it does too, a sleek look to mimic grown up watches.

This helps so much with potty training. It helps to remind your child to think about going and to communicate it. Also a good reminder if you aren’t thinking about it. It’s small enough to not get in the way or cause too much distraction. Easy to use and program. Comfortable to wear and play while wearing. Would recommend.

The product looks like the pictured item. The watch is actually a bright pink color and not reddish like the pictured watch. It is water proof and the timer can be set as low as 15 minutes. The battery seems to last forever. Overall, the watch seem great and would recommend.
