Its easy for my toddler to open and close it by herself. Very cute and a great shape.

I purchased this cute umbrella because I thought it would be cute for my daughter to have her own rain gear. My daughter loved it when I gave it to her. She did not even have a chance to use it while it was raining. When we took the umbrella out to use, we noticed a hole at the top of the umbrella and therefore we could not even use the item. Sad! So I highly suggest you look at the umbrella well and make sure there is no damage and make sure you keep it in a safe place where it wont get caught on anything because it will break. Its made cheap.

Loved the clear see through idea. Small enough for little hands hold to feel independent. Great product.

This was a disappointment. It came with tears in the plastic. I read other reviews and was hoping the damage was a rare occurance...but alas, tis not.

We picked one of these up today from a Totes Outlet for $6.99 and my daughter is loving it. I cant speak to how well they hold up, but the sales clerk did inform me that Totes offers a lifetime guarantee on them, so you can get a new one if it breaks. That works for me! My daughter is 3 1/2 and has been begging for her own umbrella for about a year now. I like this one because she can open and close it herself (I was surprised!), the dome shape keeps her dry and covered, and it does not poke her or others in the eye like some of the more standard-shaped umbrellas you see. The dome shape keeps the pointy bits (which are actually covered in round, plastic beads) away from her face, and she wont poke anyone when passing by. We ordered the clear (which has silver accents) and love it because it is clear so we dont have to match it to her coat or boots. Overall, a great purchase, and one very happy little girl.
