I love that it has buttons that snap on the front, for closure, to keep her towel on, when were walking from the beach to the car, or the pool to the house. The hood absorbs the bulk of the water from her hair.

Also liked that I didn’t have to pack both a beach towel & coverup. The quality of the material could have been better but not bad for the price. Wish there had been more designs for older girls to choose from.
