Purchased at Christmas to put back for an Easter present. We broke it out today in late February on a rainy day. The black just falls loosely apart with no tension to keep it closed. Disappointing after investing more in this toy to avoid cheaper other brands with the same concept.

LOVE this toy! We got this for our daughter after our PT used them with her, and they did not disappoint! They are her favorite toy by far, just enough work for her, but also easy enough to feel success with the eggs. I can see how they will grow with her as she gets more independent.

My 2-year old has a strange obsession with eggs. For weeks, he would take the carton out of the refrigerator, grab an egg, and he would carry it around all day if we would let him! I debated between this toy and some plain wooden eggs, but my toddler chose this one. He loves it! He still goes for a real egg every now and then, but the set has really helped to minimize the issue! He also loves matching games, so I sometimes lay them out face-down like the card game, which is fun.
