I didnt use any small balloons to fill so I cant comment on the glue dots. I tied string around the plastic ribbon, placed 3m command hooks on the wall where I wanted it. Worked great and would definitely recommend temporary hooks on the wall!

Greater than one weekI love these. They are so clutch for balloon decor. It still takes time and a lot of work but definitely can be a lot more manageable with these handy. And, you can use them in different ways. One of my fav little tricks when decorating.
