Frist of all, if youve never played a Kingdom Hearts game before and just stumbled upon this game thinking its an easy game to get into with cute Disney and anime characters, youre only half correct.

I love this game! Its been almost a decade since I played this and the remaster brought back some wonderful memories (please no chain of memories puns). The final mix additions changed how I played and enjoyed the game too. If youve played this before I highly recommend Proud Mode or Critical Mode. It adds an additional challenge to what I previously thought of as too easy ( seriously you will die consistently but it forces you to get better at the mechanics in combat which are surprisingly deep and varied). Part way through a playthrough of all the games before Kingdom Hearts 2.8and couldnt be more satisfied.

I have never played the first one. I was confused about what was going on from the beginning to middle. I caught up to speed by the middle to the ending. I really liked this game.

I cant explain the reason why I can never stop playing these games, I just start from the beginning and play over and over again. I love Disney, and the games are simple enough to get through without total frustration like some of the Final Fantasy games can get to.

Kingdom Hearts is my all time favorite video game series. These reMIXes are a much easier way for newer players to start playing than buying each game individually. There are 7 games out currently that span several systems but the 1.5 and 2.5 releases make it much easier to acquire them all, giving you 6/7 of them for one system. Two of them are only the cutscenes of their games, but there are several hours of them and you can follow the story of those games easily.
