> 3 dayThis SSD is horribly slow for an SSD and is suitable only for external storage or to swap into an ancient laptop that still works.

> 3 dayI basically looked at ratings and the price was right during holiday sales. I wanted an SSD drive to use this for my pc back up and image. It runs cool and super fast! My backups finish a lot faster switching this out with an old 2.5HDD. Backups that took 1 hour now take 15 min. SATA connectivity so it is internal and fits in the caddy perfectly. It has a plastic case which surprisingly stays cool enough as not to be a concern.

> 3 dayI have an Acer 2 in 1 thats been dead for a year or so. It just wouldnt book - it gave weird errors. I finally got enough information together to guess that the hard drive had gone bad. So I found this hard drive and gave it a try. I found an article that showed me how to take the tablet apart and I replaced the drive. Then I had to go into the BIOS and change the boot from EUFI to Legacy. Until I did that, it wouldnt recognize the new hard drive! Once I did it, the rest was fine. I used a usb stick to install Windows 10 and Windows remembered my computer so I didnt even have to try to activate it (this was an unexpected plus). Now Ive got a working 2 in 1 again and much cheaper than a replacement!

> 3 dayI remember 1TB SSD was around $300+ when I built my desktop 7~8 years ago, so I had to settle with HDD.
