This memory is inexplicably incompatible with the new Dell XPS 17 9710. Purchased Crucial RAM of the same size and timing and it works perfectly.

This is decent RAM for people whose motherboards and/or processors are going to limit them to below 4,000mHz anyway.

The model of laptop (mentioned in the title) I got came with single channel 32gb 3200mhz CL 22. I got this to replace that because my model has a Ryzen CPU, which functions far better with duel channel RAM. I plugged the 2 SODIMM in and the system immediately registered, at the rated speed. Im verry happy with my purchase.
