I upgraded the 128G Kingston SSD which came with the Asus ROG GU501GM, cloning it to the new 1TB Kingston. Swapped them and the machine booted even quicker than before. Great upgrade which has added a few more years if life to the laptop.

Got this for my living room gaming PC. These are great for modern video games that have long load times on a HDD. Check your motherboard first though. If you only have Gen 2 PCIe then you could probably find a cheaper one as this is a Gen 3 SSD. It would still be much faster than a HDD.

Its amazing that something about the size of a stick of gum can hold so much data. Installed in my wifes dell inspiron laptop that came with an HDD with the help of some great youtube tutorials. Fresh install of windows and formatted the old HDD, which is now used as a backup. The whole process only took a couple hours and the laptop is now insanely fast and backed up weekly using freesync. Couldnt be happier.

was compatible with my Aorus motherboard and the windows 11 operating system. it reads new volume, and shows up in Disk management.

I got this SSD for mass storage as I already have a WD500gb nvme SSD. I am using the Aorus B450 pro Wifi MOBO which has 2 NVME SSD ports. Plugged in all good shows up in BIOS but only the WD500gb (my boot drive) and my HDD show up. This SSD isnt showing up in windows and Ive tried it on two different motherboards. If anyone can show me that this is an issue on my end then ill change the rating to 5 stars but the other SSD i purchased was plug and play and worked out the box
