Kiss of the Dragon

Jet li in his best performance in my opinion, showcased how he can be a lead man in Hollywood and the rest was history.

In this movie jet li shows his skills in an excelent performance.

Ranking much higher than The Enforcer, but not quite as high as Lethal Weapon 4 or Black Mask, Kiss of the Dragon is one of Jet Lis better films. Although I liked Romeo Must Die & The One RMD was missing in really great fighting scenes (although the few short fights were pretty good), and The One was pretty much the opposite, with plenty of great fighting, it was lacking in the storyline department. Kiss of the Dragon has almost enough plot, and almost enough good action... but not quite enough. It also might have been the fact that there were a bunch of Chinesse in France but everyone was speaking English... I think I heard half a dozen French words in the whole film... a little disappointing, and confussing (well, not confussing, its a movie and they can get away with whatever they want). Overall it should have recived a 3.5, but I rounded up for good behavior.

KOTD is a very good Chinese martial arts film. To be honest, The first 17 min are a pretty violent & I almost nearly gave up on the film (due to this rapid violent pace). However, the plot gets more complex (& more interesting) when he meets with Bridget Fondas very believable character (sort of an American Hooker in Paris). Good acting (actually) on her part which lends a down-to-earth quality to the film. (Unless youre one of Jet Lis opponents snacking on his shoe sole at high velocity). Martial arts for People who dont like martial arts, Jet Li is beyond question unstoppable as a Chinese Intelligence officer in this film. Jet Li rivals Jason Bourne. 4 out of 5 stars in my book! -Leonard

This is 1 of my favorite Jet Li movies . It is so crazy as in terms of how fast he moves along with the other martial artists that sparr with him its crazy. Look up the movie on google under production notes and you will see what the hell Im talking about. So well acted and choreographed!

A very good Jet Li movie. Like all his movies great martial arts action. You will not be let down by this movie if you like action.
