As soon as you open the box you realize this is the real deal! Looks and feels very high end and the sound is great. Its super comfortable and the way it attaches to the oculus makes the whole thing fit much better on your head. Literally a game changer!

I bought 2 of these sets cuz I have twins, so I always try to buy the same to avoid any disagreements. The headstraps are made very well. The halo protectors dont stay on very well.

Ive had the Quest 2 since launch day and have used 4 or 5 different types of straps, but this is the first one with integrated headphones. Installation was a simple snap in like any other Quest strap, but this has nice soft and thick cushioning on the top strap and back headrest. Its still light weight, doesnt feel bulky even with the headphones and holds tight even during intense VR sessions. The thick padding also makes it very comfortable to wear for long periods provided youve also upgraded the facial interface from the stock foam one. The headphones bring much needed clarity and volume compared to the built in speakers in many games, but are especially noticeable in rhythm music games like Beat Saber, Synthriders, Pistol Whip as well as other apps such as Big Screen where good sound can really add to the experience. The headphones are spring loaded to lightly press against the ears while the soft padding keeps them comfortable for extended use. They can rotate freely as well as extend and retract so can be positioned to perfectly fit on the ears. The cable is just long enough to reach the headphone jack, but some cable management clips might be nice. The strap body and headphones match the color of the Quest 2 perfectly and feels just as if not more sturdy than the other cheap straps Ive been using up till now. The earpads and foam pads have a soft leather like feel and hopefully will not absorb sweat too easily. The rear pad is also attached via velcro so can be easily removed for cleaning if needed. The only real negative Ive encountered using this has been the adjustment knob at the rear. It is small, very smooth and slippery, making quick adjustments while gaming less than optimal. Thankfully, the ratcheting mechanism seems to hold well and hasnt popped loose during play. Some grip tape should easily solve that problem, but a little texturing from the factory wouldve been ideal. Overall its a bit pricey, but definitely worth it if you get it during a sale. I doubt any normal strap with add on headphones would be much cheaper or work nearly as well. Just keep in mind that it is much wider than most normal straps due to the headphones, so you will likely need to get an extra wide case if you like taking it along on trips.

Had a little trouble at first with the install, as it was not intuitive for me. The video worked great. It does add weight that is noticeable to the device, but the padding is very comfortable. Getting it on and off is much better now and it is quick and easy to adjust the fit. My husband does not have to hear Lizzo belting it out when I play Beat Saber. Worth the purchase.

Upgraded, maybe to some sidegraded, to this from the Vive DAS with a Frankenquest adapter. Its a not-insignificant downgrade in sound quality from that, but the headphones actually stay in place significantly better than the DAS ever did, and the weight distribution of the entire headset is miles better. Super worth the trade-off for me.
