I am an IBEW electrician. A quality level is a must for quality work. Magnets are strong. I get about a year out of one of these with heavy use.

Cant ever go wrong with Klein tools. The build quality on this level is excellent and the magnets are incredibly strong. Heres a story and testament to Klein levels - about 8 years ago I was just starting out as a commercial electrician. I had just bought a Klein level (the older style black ones). I was working on a scissor lift and hanging some conduit in a large store and I dropped my level out of my hands. When the level fell past the metal hand railing on the scissor lift it immediately stuck onto the metal railing. The strong magnets had saved the level from falling 30 feet which probably would have broken it. I was sold ever since then. At the price point now theres no reason to buy a different brand. I can pretty much guarentee that the $30-$40 levels of this same type are not any high quality.

I’ve had this for a couple of months. Already dropped it from a scissor lift about 30’ in the air. Has a small dent, that’s all. Magnet is superb. No dog screw is wonderful. Couldn’t be happier.

Other reviewers questioned the use of the brass clamp on one end of this level. It works well when clamped into the open end of conduit while installing longer runs of conduit and making various turns. Accuracy matches up with known accurate angles. The useful magnets are solidly fixed into the frame. They also grab onto other ferrous tools in the bag, so it does not get lost. Though lower priced than the Stabila 0-45-90 degree small level, you get an extra 30 degree tube to boot! Well done, Klein!

Excellent build quality, levels easy to read/see. The magnets are TOUGH! They latch on to metal super strong. I thought the video was of it pulling up a bundle of conduit kinda of funny, but after using it, its the real deal. Edit: Well after using this to instal conduit the super strong magnets are NOT a benefit. They hold too tightly and throw off the placement when removing the level as you basically have to tug at it to let go. Reducing the number to only 2 magnets would still provide great hold without the death grip tug to remove. More/ stronger magnets is NOT a positive.

Easy to carry in your pocket and magnets are very strong.
