> 3 dayI have owned one of these for around three years. While it works great when it works, as another reviewer has commented it really doesnt work well in the cold. I never had another meter affected by the cold the way this one is. But when it is cold the readings are completely inaccurate. Consequently I never trust this meter anymore. I particularly found the DC amp clamp function useful. But its not useful if I cant trust the readings. This is actually my second meter as well. The first one had an issue and Klein was good enough to replace it. Still, Im afraid that this meter is not very useful for me.

Greater than one weekI used Fluke for years and loved them but wasnt excited about the price tag. These are well made and have the features of meters several times the price. The additional price for the CL800 is small and worth the extra features that I dont use often (such as K-type temp). The LED light should have been brighter and should have its own switch (it is the same switch for the back-light). The magnet attachment is great as well but is not included. The leads are the weak point of the meter. I prefer extra rugged leads and foresee replacing them a couple times a year. All that being said, I am extremely rough on tools/equipment and I think this one is going to hold up for many years.

> 3 dayThis is a good tool and arrived in great time. As far as use. I really believe that an electrical/ electronics you should get a higher grade meter.

> 3 dayI don know why, but the NCV dont works, if I approach to a 5v cable for example my laptops fan, its turn on, when approach to my TV remote control its turn on too....in the manual dont says the range of voltage, but my sperry turns on when the voltage is around 80 volts, but 3 volts is too slow to turn onthe NCV, in the photo the usb are unplugged, and the led turn on, and the audible alarm is very slow

> 3 dayThis is a great meter in terms of form and function. The exterior is very durable. The plastic parts seem very sturdy and there is a rubberized coating on the sides as well as on the dial. The dial and buttons are firm and feel like they are very good quality.

> 3 dayHavent really used it yet, but I installed the batteries and it lit up. bought it to replace a similar Aimo (read that Laimo brand meter that has been a piece of junk from day one) Sometimes you get what you pay for. Klein has been a top supplier to commercial electricians for many years! Always trust the quality!

> 3 dayThis meter was able to capture starting amps for a 4 ton AC compressor. Manually set amp range and then MAX button. The three readings I took varied about 7%, but satisfied my needs.

> 3 dayBeen loving the multimeter the more I use it. I love the automatic feature as it takes much of the guess work out for craftsmen electrician hobbiests like me who also cannot afford accuracy for the times when I actually need a good multimeter.
