> 3 dayFirst got this meter and immediately put it to work reading some DC amperages. It was very spotty as to whether it would actually read or not, but I could always eventually get it to work by moving it around and resetting it via the dial switch.

> 3 dayAnother quality Klein tool, the first meter of theirs I’ve had. Well built and designed at a reasonable cost compared to others with less capability.

> 3 dayIt worked fine at first and seemed like a good quality meter. But after about two months of very light use it just died. Became completely unresponsive. New batteries didnt help. I now have a $129 paperweight.

Greater than one weekThe meter is great, however I would have rated this a 5 because it was missing a screw for the battery compartment. Poor quality control out of China. The screw is impossible to lose unless you completely take it out. It cannot just drop out. I have another Klein tool that uses the same screw.

> 3 dayBeen loving the multimeter the more I use it. I love the automatic feature as it takes much of the guess work out for craftsmen electrician hobbiests like me who also cannot afford accuracy for the times when I actually need a good multimeter.

> 3 dayI really like this meter. How it looks how it feels when you grip it - Checks alot of boxes for me. But if youre ohming anything out besides an element or coil under 100 ohms its a bust. Pretty tired of seeing OL and having to break out the Fluke.

> 3 dayVery much like this meter. The audible continuity test is awesome. I knew it would come in handy, but didnt realize how much. Contractor called me and said one of my rental units had no heat. After several minutes of troubleshooting I was able to determine the thermostat wasnt working. So I tested the thermostat wire for continuity which I knew to be good. Sure enough no continuity. Turns out the contractor cut the thermostat wire. If you get this meter I cant stress enough to get the magnetic mount for the back. When you are working on furnaces or electric panels having that feature is fantastic. Also the back lighting on this meter is great. The only feature I wish it had was the ability to rotate the meter screen. Also the leads that come with it are too short in my mind, but I already had a favorite set of leads from my last meter that work good. Overall a great meter and a life saver when troubleshooting.
