Great home workshop VOM

Use this work, mostly low voltage works fine. Might buy another to have a spare for when I leave this in a customers house.

For the price, its hard to beat this meter. It seems to be built very tough. And after checking the calibration yesterday, the unit is within the specification of Fluke multimeters. (except temperature.) The unit is new, and may drift. But as of right now, it appears to be a great little meter!

I was looking for a multimeter that is accurate and easy to use around the house for a person who is not a professional electrician. This product meets all of my needs, especially when used in conjunction with “how to” videos from the internet. I especially like how the controls are laid out and that the screen is bright and easy to read. I haven’t used the thermocouple yet but it seems to read the ambient air temperature accurately and is a nice add on, even though it is not a high-demand item for me. This multimeter is a terrific value that puts you way ahead of the lower-end units. I highly recommend it!

My multimeter never metered correctly. At first I thought it was user error but didnt take time to read the instructions. Then I would try to use it again and again the reading were not working and I would put it away (again). Finally I messaged Klein (manufacturer) and they said the product had a 2-yr guarantee and to contact the seller for refund/exchange. Unfortunately I can not find a link to click for refund/exchange. Im hoping someone at Amazon will read this review and respond to me.

There should be an option to make the backlight stay on longer

It works well, does everything its advertised it is capable of doing. It sets up easy, and the display is clear and large so you can read it, even off angle.
