If you are a part time or a full time electrician, this is a tool you can’t be without. I’m upgrading an older (40 years) home with less than code wiring practices. My Kleintool has saved my bacon several times. If you’re serious, this has to be in your toolbox

Put the batteries that came with it in and it was DOA. Tested the 1.5V batteries and they were both over 1.6V so it wasnt the batteries. The unit itself was just dead and wouldnt turn on. Im surprised because this is supposed to be the reputable brand but apparently their quality control isnt that great.

Love the ability it has to sense high voltage without touching

This is a lot better then the older version, i liked it so much I brought two just in case I travel

Im not a handyman or professional electrician and use this tool for quick home repairs. I just like how this tool looks like, how it works and the feeling of safety this tool gives.

A must carry in tool box for electrical work. You never know what the bonehead ahead of you did. I dont need the dual range, but they dont offer the previous model. I lost it due to cheap batteries leaking.
