> 3 dayEasy to use. Well built. I liked the dual voltage range detection. The built in light is very useful. The battery cap is secure. I have not used the plastic clip. The housing is solid, rigid rugged build quality. Very pleased with product.

> 3 dayKlein products are great. I really like this tester. Some as does it work on DC current. The answer is right now there isn’t a non contact tester that can test for DC current. Very good quality and I imagine someone will inherit this when I’m long gone.

> 3 dayi bought both this klein and the fluke and fluke works nicely in my electrical work space on metals i touch with the fluke and the klein does the same thing and also nicely tells me the presence of volts/amps merely being near ie i was surprised how much better the klein tester is at noncontact testing .. and because a testing error might result in you being dead.. you should have two testers and fluke has an outstanding rep but actually this klein tester pen is waay better.

> 3 dayI received this tester within the kit together with the clamp meter. It looks great and fills like a reliable product. However, I do not understand construction logic regarding detection of neutral wire. Practically, it sometimes shows red signal on neutral, sometimes not. Even if I repeat the test on the same outlet. I think this is a problem of sensitivity and construction. In one logic, it must show red on every live outlet, regardless which wire I touch. On other logic, It may have distinct the neutral and hot. In both cases, I do not expect the deviations. Otherwise, the product is not safe.

> 3 dayValuable tool when working with people who did not color-code their wires. I wish it was a little LESS sensitive. My house is older and some outlets are not well shielded. All I have to do is get close to those outlets and the tester will go red. Same with a set of wires I was testing. Didnt even need to touch the wire for the tester to go red. I had to spread the L and N wires apart at least 10 inches for the tester to NOT go off on the neutral line.
