If you are doing anything with your wiring … now you KNOW which wires are charged.

This thing works from 3-5 inches away. Yes it will tell you voltage is present. But impossible to troubleshoot using this tester. Trying to locate which wire is hot all the time or the switched wire in a ceiling box was impossible. Going to purchase another brand.

It is too sensitive, no matter the setting... It even detects voltage in some network wires that are connected to nothing, that used to have 5vdc... 3 starts because it detects when a 120vac wire is hot and when its not, the main reason I bought it. But the accuracy is not the best.

Excellent voltage monitor with both low voltage and line voltage modes. I like the light which adds a lot of safety when probing for active voltages in dimly lit areas. I also like the green and red leds which tell you when you are probing voltages.

I bought the kit, and this was the only item that didnt work. Amazon sent me another and that one didnt worked. They did refund me for this item. Big disappointment

I stopped working properly. I tried to reach customer support through email on their web site, but 5 days later no response. The last thing you want doing electrical project - is malfunctioning tester

This Klein contactless voltage tester is great, really like that it has a built in flashlight

Really like this detector can find ⚡through drywall ,very accurate no misread, light is a nice addition yet not very bright the size is a little bigger then a avg voltage tester.
