I really enjoy this tool. It comes in handy for most type wire from 10-22 gauge. It is adjustable to get good clean cuts on the wire.

It works as good as similar ones made by others.

Easy to use, quick results, makes it easy to identify which wires are live. Very helpful in plastic junction boxes where you dont have a reliable independent ground. There are other versions of this but specifically got this model due to the light. Very helpful! Bought an extra one and gave it out as a gave it as a gift.

It is too sensitive, no matter the setting... It even detects voltage in some network wires that are connected to nothing, that used to have 5vdc... 3 starts because it detects when a 120vac wire is hot and when its not, the main reason I bought it. But the accuracy is not the best.

I would love to have been able to tell you all about the great features but it never even powered on. I tried 3 different sets of batteries. Never came on:( Had to return it.

replaced this item once and get the same item from the seller. Problem is it doesnt make audible sound when touching the live voltage it only show red light. but i am keeping this product now and not replacing again because i need it urgently because my project has already started. seller should change the description on amazon.

It lights up when power is detected with no touch. I recent used it to trace why my well was not getting power. In a few minutes I located the problem. It has a flashlight too. I am very happy with it.
