This tool helped me find a shorted CAT 5 cable within minutes. Easy to use and did what I needed it to. Very handy to keep around.

I originally had to borrow a tester from IT at work to test an issue I was having in my home network. Wired was working but wireless said there was no internet access.

Wow… just wow

This was purchased to help out with an office move. We moved two full server racks and wanted to triple check the wiring. Once we mapped and checked everything we were able to find some cabling that was having issues and replace them. We also used this to check the status of cables we made.

1st day I opened it I found 2 bad cat 5e cable ends with this tester. I cut and re-crimped the cables and my TV and access point are back in business. Works great and very simple to use along with the price is right. Great buy. Thanks
