14-04-2025Honestly the best mechanical keyboard I have found at this price that comes with this many features it comes with two sets of keycaps, one in white and the other in black which is great for customization. The board is also hot-swappable with any 5-pin or 3-pin switches and comes with software to change the RGB modes. It also comes with a USB dongle for wireless mode but can also be used with Bluetooth and USB C cable for wired use if thats whats you prefer. The most surprising feature for me was the plate foam they use which was a nice touch to prevent the board from sounding hollow. This board is a hidden gem and I cannot recommend it enough.

Greater than one weekAbsolutely love typing on this keyboard. This is under priced. It’s hot swappable, wired and wireless, has bluetooth 5.0 and 2.4ghz… What more could you want from a mechanical keyboard for only 37$? Amazing keyboard. It’s my first time using a mechanical keyboard. The size is perfect, the arrow keys still exist (unlike on 60%, this is a 65%) and the sound from the brown switches is amazing as well, not too loud and not too soft. My typing speed has increased. RGB and software work as they should, no fusses there You get white keycaps as an extra. Again, for 37$ you almost can’t believe that you get this many things in the package. Will be adding KLIM to one of my brands to watch out for, they make seriously great products.

> 3 dayBox contents: Keyboard, USB-A to USB-C cable, plastic keycap puller, metal switch puller, and two spare switches, and set of white keycaps. This is the first keyboard I’ve had with tactile mechanical switches. I found that I’m not a fan of tactile switches; I greatly prefer linear switches, but that’s an easy change since this keyboard is 3-pin and 5-pin hot-swappable. The switches are Jixian brown tactile switches. These seem half decent compared to the Jixian black linear switches that came on another keyboard I purchased, but I’m still not a fan of the tactile feel. This keyboard would still be better served with some better quality switches than the Jixian switches, even if you like tactile switches. The keyboard is a small 65% keyboard, and it’s fairly lightweight, but still pretty rigid. The plate is coated steel, and the top frame is held onto the plate magnetically. This keyboard is tri-mode, so it’s capable of being used wirelessly using either the dongle or Bluetooth, or it can be used plugged in with a USB-C cable. The button to switch modes is on the bottom of the keyboard. I tried each method without issue. On the back, there is a slot that magnetically retains the wireless dongle when it’s not being used, which is great for keeping track of your dongle. There a USB-C port for charging and for wired connection, and an on/off switch located on the back. On the bottom, there is a mode button with indicator lights to switch between wired, wireless, and Bluetooth. You can toggle between devices using Fn + Q, W, or E. Instructions on how to connect to Bluetooth in the manual were clearly stated and easy to follow. There is a layer of foam inside the keyboard. It’s not the noisiest out of the box, and I think the steel plate has something to do with that. The sound profile could certainly be further adjusted by changing the type of foam inside and lubricating the switches will also help. Since I prefer linear switches, I opted to change out the tactile switches for linear ones. I added o-rings to the keycaps, and the sound of the keyboard is a more dampened, closer to my liking. When you press Fn + Win to engage the Windows lock, it activates the Windows Start menu. It does still lock the Win key, so that you won’t accidently activate it while gaming, but you’ll have to close the menu after turning on the Win lock. Just a minor inconvenience. I’ve only encountered this anomaly on one other keyboard, which is incredibly similar to the KLIM Shift. They probably share a common PCB, among other things. For what you get for the price, this is a pretty good keyboard. With the second set of keycaps, the easily removable top frame, and a hot-swappable PCB, this board is worth the money if you’re in the market for a 65% keyboard. It’s certainly a great platform if you plan to modify it.

> 3 dayI really like this keyboard just because of its customization. I have an Xbox and it was really hard to find a keyboard that I could customize on the fly. This keyboard has red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet and each of the colors are great and stand out but the colors are slightly off compared to other LED and RGB devices in my setup. The sound of the switches are great but they get louder the more you click them. The keyboard also supports up to three bluetooth devices that you can switch between on the fly. I like the vibrant RGB when using the white key caps. The key caps have a very nice texture as well. But there is a few things that I dont like and that could be improved. - Black key caps dont show RGB very well - key cap puller scrapes the keys when removed - do NOT use the switch puller EVER -keyboard doesnt support separate USB-C cords for charging

Greater than one weekPros: •2.4Ghz and stores 3 bluetooth devices. •Extra keycaps (secured packaging). •5-pin PCB compatible. •Removeable magnetic frame. •Rubberized feet (2 sizes) that fold in. •Hot swappable. •19 RGB stock modes (including no RGB) and software to customize. •RGB auto shut off after 5 min of inactivity when on battery. •Cherry MX style switches and stabs. Neutral: •Brown Switches* •North-facing RGB •Keycaps textured ABS plastic. Cons: •Hollow feedback despite preinstalled foam. Perfect after modding. •Scratchy & pingy switches.* Tolerable after modding. •USB C port has a raised border limiting compatible cables. *Reasoning under switches. Keyboard Features: First, this is a 65% (68 key) keyboard not 60, but I prefer 65%. The magnetic frame can be removed to give the appearance of floating keys, to dust, and easy access to switches. Case has 2 different sized rubbered feet that collapse on top of each other. 2.4Ghz adapter has a magnetic slot for storage when not in use. USB C slot is a little off center, but I think it would be better by the backspace key. The port also has a raised border, so the usb cable can’t have a thick casing or it will not fit. There’s noticeable hollow feedback while typing despite preinstalled foam, so I added a layer of grip liner from my local discount store, and it greatly reduce the feedback to almost nothing. PCB: The PCB supports 5-pin switches, which was a very nice surprise. Typical north facing RGB. Cable to detach the battery is too close to circuits but I just had to lift the cable a little to detach it. Stabs were nicely lubed and flat, so I did not clip them. They were a little hard to remove but could’ve just been me. The stab bar was surprisingly flat. I audibly gasped in awe. Switches: I knew I wouldn’t be happy with stock switches and better switches would drive up the price. Typing with the Jixian switches stock were unbearable for my ears and fingers (and not because they are brown). After a week, I lubed the lower housing stem rails (205g0) and springs (105 bag method). I felt doing the stem would make it too mushy and using 105 would not take away how scratchy it was. After lubing, it is a lot better than before. No more ping and still a slight scratch, but I didn’t lube everything so that’s expected. Note: Anyone taking the time to properly lube the switches would not be lubing Jixian switches. That is another reason I also did not film them because the housing was snug. You can buy better switches stock then lubing and filming these. Packaging: Packaging was very well thought out. It included the tools to do basic modding. The spare keycaps have a cardstock to keep them in place and you get an ISO enter keycap... it will not fit this keyboard, but now youll have one! The manual and visual reference guide is in multiple languages. There wasnt any thick foam surrounding the keyboard, but usually you see that in more expensive brands. The presentation of the keyboard is definitely gift-giving worthy. Opinon: Keyboards are all about preference, but this a great keyboard to start modding with. Would it be better if I lubed the switches properly? Maybe. Would different keycaps make it more thocky? Most likely, depending on the style of keycap. This keyboard is like a diamond in the rough. I would rate it 3.5/5 stock but could’ve easily been 5/5 without the usb border and with slight mods. But I expect to mod every keyboard, so Id give it 4.5/5 because of the usb border.

> 3 dayThis is my first mechanical keyboard. I work in a job with a whole lot of typing and can already tell the difference it is making ergonomically because my wrists dont scream at me at the end of the day. It is very high quality and was packaged beautifully. Even the user manual was fun to read, and KLIM has clearly put a lot of thought into every aspect of their company -- from the slick packaging, to the funny customer service packet, to all of the features jam packed onto this keyboard--it can connect in three modes, wireless, wired and bluetooth, and switch between three different bluetooth connections at the click of a key (a beautiful click, on this splendid keyboard.) Even though it is a compact keyboard, it includes a function key and clearly labeled descriptions of what fn + key does, no more googling. The LED backlight is just icing on the cake, and it has a whole bunch of different patterns, including one that ripples out light for each key you type -- which I am currently using now and very much in love with. I cant wait to try replacing some of the keys. Keyboards seem like a simple thing in the office until you have one with customizable keys and LED lighting--it brings me a lot of joy day to day and gives me a neat feeling of personal autonomy in a sometimes drab and nondescript workplace. 12/10 would feel like a pro hacker dude even though I am just an office worker again. (No Sarah you may not have my cool keyboard. Get your own.)

> 3 dayI am not a gamer much but like back lit keyboards, work in the dark a lot and I like deep clicks, and this keyboard has both and its functions like a champ, as I type fast, so I really appreciate the quality the backlight is superb, one of the best, the speed of the keys are superb for wireless... cant comment like the hardcore gamers, but this key board is great for more than gamers... 4.5 stars....recommended!

> 3 dayI reached out to the KLIM team with questions about my keyboard and not only was Samuele quick to respond he was also very knowledgeable about the keyboard and keyboards in general. The customer service alone is 5 stars. I cant say I know a lot about red/brown/blue switches but what I can say is the brown switches on mine are very smooth. Tactile feeling not clicky like the keyboards a friend of mine has. Having never gotten into keyboard modeling this is a great starting point.
