we use the speakers for outside and I live in Kansas and the weather can be bad here and they still play great and no matter what the still stand strong and play loud no matter what

This is definitely a great sounding speaker for my patio. Works great with my Sansui receiver and it was so easy to install Im very happy!

These have a larger enclosure than you would expect for 6.5 speakers, but they sound great. I think that due to the size and the way the bass port is designed the bass response is much better than other 6.5 speakers. I used these to replace a pair of ~$100 speakers on my back patio, and the difference in sound quality was dramatic. For normal listening to music, you do not need a woofer to get great bass sound with these speakers. I have a patio that is about 1500 sq ft, and these speakers are easily able to fill it with sound. I would recommend careful consideration of speaker placement to get the best sound quality. These speakers are relatively heavy, but the included brackets make installation easy and will work for either a horizontal or vertical orientation. I was able to fit them under the eaves of my house, and they are very protected from the sun and from the elements.

These speakers really sound good! The sound across the lows, mids and highs is balanced and the highs are smooth sounding and not shrill. The bass is full, tight and present. The projection is also very good, so much so, that I wont install any other speakers in my yard. They are fairly large, but in my case that was not an issue. I would recommend these speakers.

Have owned a pair of Bose 151 outdoor speakers for many years (over 7 years), finally tired of hearing unclear heavy base sound and so many comments about Bose sound quality (no high, no low), first I did not really care about outdoor speakers as much as indoor because you only listen to them during nice summer days in the open back yard anyway, so I gave DT AW6500, 3-way speakers a try. Look up my comment, 2 star (Buyer beware (There is no Right or Left on these Speakers, DT designs them as one speaker.). After many hours of research, I ordered Klipsch AW-650 Indoor/Outdoor Speaker - White (Pair). The Best Outdoor Speakers, period!!…..or best indoor. These speakers completely changed my concept of how outdoor speakers should be. Very well built for outdoor, of course (do not know about weather proof part ) but crystal clear sound with a good bass, you could even use them as versatile indoor speakers. One down side, you might need a sub if you really want some boom.......worth every penny.

I installed these in my backyard in South Florida. Its been a few months and I can say that these have survived through torrential downpours. I installed these under the eves so that they wouldnt get directly wet, but sometimes it does rain with quite a bit of wind. I wired these to my Denon receiver at zone 2. They sound amazing.

I really like the sound. To be fair, part of that is due to my receiver. Im running them off zone 2 of my yamaha aventage 1080. It uses some trickery to give you more bass at low volumes so they sound the same loud and quiet. My wife is impressed which is saying something. She wasnt happy about the cost, but if these last, they were a great investment. They fill the backyard with clean sound. Install is straightforward. Mine lasted about 6 hours, but I ran wires through the wall/ attic. No more hauling portable speakers to the backyard for pool time/picnics/campfires. Super happy, hope the longevity matches the sound quality.

The speakers are great but after 7-8 months use 1 of the speakers stopped working.... other one is still good. I tried getting in touch with the seller but they were un responsive. Klipsch said that the seller was not an Authorized Dealer and hence the warrant policy does not apply to my purchase but they will make an exception out of courtesy.... This is mixed review/rating is really about unauthorized seller not the speakers...

Klipsch never, NEVER disappoints
