My first and only choice for and oil filter great product good quality easy to remove and install.

I try to use K&N Gold exclusively because they consistently rank highest in tests; you show the gold in the photo but you shipped me the Performance filter. Still a good filter but not as good as the Gold; I used it anyway.

The K&N oil filter is the one of choice for my 2018 Power Wagon. If the truck is not put on a hoist for an oil change the filter is rather hard to maneuver in & out of the little space it is in. K&Ns wrench end makes it so much easier to get the filter to turn to take off.

As a mechanic, I can tell you this filter is a lot better than the average cheap ones quick-lube places use. Its heavy duty and will not be as easily punctured or collapsed as cheap ones, and while I have not personally cut one open to compare the filter element I have friends who have and they attest to the filter inside. Expensive oil filters simply have more filter area inside and will filter out more particles before sending all your oil through the bypass valve when they reach their capacity. The wrench off back is a great idea but the only downside is that the nut on the back is so large most people wont have a socket big enough in a typical tool set, but if you have an extensive socket set its great... or if you are faced with a stuck on oil filter its probably a lot easier to get a socket for it rather than dealing with a slipping filter wrench or trying other creative solutions like puncturing it with a screwdriver for leverage.

Shipped very quickly. I have used these filters for over 20 years never an issue. You cant be having the nuts on the in the filter if you have a hard time getting it off. It filters my old very well unlike those cheap Fram filters or the life

I have been using K&N for a while now on all my vehicles. Love the easy wrench off feature, 17mm and give it a twist, no more figuring out which wrench and then wrestling the filter and wrench together to twist off. If you are doing oil changes yourself, get this filter, and get it from Amazon, Walmart is as much as $7 more for the same filter.

The design of the Chevy 6.0 V8 puts the oil filter in a tight space next to the oil pan, making it difficult to access and remove the filter. THIS unit can be easily removed using a box end wrench. ALSO, the K and N filter is highly rated by people who have dissected and analyzed all the brands of filters on the market. I recommend this filter to all the do-it-yourselfers out there.
