Over priced as you would expect but well made -

I have been using KN FILTERS for my Chevy suburban and it’s defiantly a high quality filter with durable think walls which has a very high pressure sustainability (race proven) to prevent bursts/leaks. Very easy to remove using 1” socket - saves you time and from buying other tools! Also best part is comes wrapped in plastic so you know no metal shavings or foreign objects/dust is in the filter when you open it up! Also comes with a window sticker which is great! Trust your car/truck/suv to KN you won’t buy anything else. Five star - very solid product - highly recommend!!

Little pricey but is a good filter. Have seen the you tube videos where they cut different brand filters in hlaf and this one was tied with first on filter medium and construction. If you have vehicle where its darn near impossible to reach the filter body to install a wrench (of any kind) the built in 1 nut on the bottom of the filter is blessing.

Use this particular brand in many different vehicles. Its never failed, and has always caught a great amount of detriment in the oil. The biggest reason I purchase this from Amazon is the price. Locally, they used to go for $13.99, now theyre $21 or $22 at all the stores for THIS particular filter (HP-1017). Amazon had it for $12 on Prime! Excellent value.

Have not tried it I heard these are excellent brands of builders so they my 1st time the cpc to be excellent

Been using K&N filters and Royal Purple oil in both my vehicles and couldnt be happier with the performance

I use it for my Camero SS 2014. Works as expected, BUT please make sure you screw this on with a wrench. Because the whole “just do it with your hand” thing does not work! Did it my first time and had a big oil spill from ten filter because it was not tight enough on

Ive always had good luck with K&N products and continue to like them including this HP-1017. This filter goes on and off well and the 1 nut on the bottom of the filter allows for a reliable way to remove the filter in tight spots or when the filter is on very tight and regular oil filter wrenches are not practical. I would like to have some of the black rubbery grip stuff on the bottom so that I could take it off by hand (some Fram filters have this and it is great). Ive never taken one of these apart or examined it scientifically so I cannot vouch for its effectiveness but subjectively, I think it works well and Ive not had any engine failures while using it.

Does not fit a big block Chevy, which is what I originally bought it for. I ended up putting it on my lawnmower. It seems to work alright. Not impressed with the quality.

Although Amazon says it doesnt, it indeed does fit a 2009 - 2013 RAM 1500 5.7 HEMI, Ive used this filter for years with no issues! Trusted brand who could back up their products!
