> 24 hourBeen using this filter on my 14 Ford Fusion for years now. Having the nut on the end of the filter is a must for this car. I have found a 12 point 1 socket fits best on the nut. A 6 point socket slips off to easy.

> 24 hourI only buy K&N oil filters, they do a great job filtering and they are easy to take off and put on with the 1” not on the bottom. why are they the only ones to consider the customers ease of use?

> 24 hourGreat for vehicles with hard to reach oil filters. I use these on my 04 Tacoma because it makes it easy to change the filter without any special tools. I use a small ratchet with a 1” socket and it saves a lot of time.

> 24 hourThis is one of the best oil filters that you can buy. Unfortunately, mine arrived damaged. It appears it had been out of the box when it was damaged as the box itself was undamaged. I will try to get a replacement sent. My review is based on the last one I bought.

> 24 hourHave been using the HP-1002 since 2013 when I bought my Speed3. Pair this with PP 5W-30 and youre good to go. Ive never used any other combo of products, but this seems to work perfectly. I change every 3000-3500K and the only gripe is that I often round off the welded on nut. This is my own fault as Im using an adjustable wrench instead of a 1 wrench. Im so used to taking these off at this point I just do it with a large set of channel locks. Works like a charm.

> 24 hourI use these on my Polaris UTV as they seem to be a quality design and construction as well as being easier to remove due to the nut on the end if needed.

> 24 hourIve got a 2000 Ford F150 and 2001 Mazda Tribute (same as Ford Escape) and both engines have their oil filters tucked up in the nastiest of locations. Its a royal pain in the ass to change the filter until I stumbled upon these K&N filters. Slap a 1 socket on it with a swivel head racket attachment and youre good to go. No more hassling two or three different filter wrenches that will only budge the filter a quarter of an inch at a time until its free. Both vehicles are going strong and I run fresh oil changes in them every 5 months regardless of mileage or 3000 miles, whichever comes first. Im an old school mechanic and believe me, oil and filters are cheap compared to an engine overhaul.
