Knape & Vogt KV Shelf Support Clip Brass, Pack of 12

Very useful to replace the clips supplied with your furniture that inevitably get lost during moves or break under heavy loads. I note with amusement that theres a pack of 1,000 of these clips available on Amazon at a very good price . . . but I dont think Ill use that many in several lifetimes! This pack of 20 will keep me going for years.

They perfectly matched the previous brackets.

A package with 12 shelf clips (not 20) and 29 brass nails arrived in two days. (See photos.) I did not need the nails as I had already installed the tracks. Although the clips work with the installed tracks; 12 clips provide support for only 3 shelves. 20 clips would have provided support for 5 shelves. Im giving 3 stars for the 3 shelves that I CAN install.

The only draw back was that I had to use pipers to press down the center, so that the clamps would fit into the slots of the shelf. Otherwise they were great, and I shared them with other teachers who also had shelves without clamps.

couldnt find brass finish support clips in stores, thought about settling for another finish, but am glad i did not. these look great and are a high-quality clip.

They hold shelves up and are more attractive than plastic.

Exactly what is in the description. I used them in my classroom after a few clips walked away over summer.

We lost ours in a move. So happy we were able to find them on Amazon. The bookshelf is 7 foot tall and was made by hand by one of my mom’s students. We couldn’t use it until we had the clips!
