I love the concept for this product but the item itself is not good. I dont understand the positive reviews I see. I found this item to be very flimsy and weak. The long piece of plastic that holds the entire footrest in place is very fragile and I can see it breaking easily. In fact, the product also makes clear on the item, the box, and in the instructions not to use this item to stand on or as a step. ???!? That makes no sense. No matter how careful, your child will have to stand on this footrest for the most briefest moment in order to sit or get out of the seat. And so are we supposed to lift our kids up in the air and place them in the seat in order to avoid stepping on this thing? Ridiculous. I dont understand why manufacturers keep doing this. Please make a quality, solid product! If the product is solid and excellent, we will happily pay whatever the higher price may be especially when it comes to products for our kids. But to build this flimsy of a product and charge us $50 for it? I mean we have 2 kids, thats $100 for this substandard item. Youve got to be kidding me. We happily returned ours. I recommend that you avoid the hassle and stay away from this item.

Awesome product

Was very hard to install with my daughters car seat. But after a while of uncomfortable positioning I got it in. When she puts a little pressure on the stand part it tilts forward. If I adjust it lower to prevent this then her feet dangle and defeats the purpose of the product. But it’s ok

It FEELS extremely flimsy, however... Ive had it in the car a month or so and no issues. Just make sure they dont use it as a step stool to get into their carseat and you should be fine. My son loves it for our 5-6 hour car rides to see family as it keeps his legs from falling asleep.

Expensive, but it seems like its the only design out on the market.

On several of our recent long car trips, my daughter (5) had been complaining that her legs hurt. It translated to us having to stop multiple times, and of course I hated to see my kid in pain. The way the carseat is positioned, her legs are just dangling over the edge, so its no wonder it becomes uncomfortable. We just returned from a road trip to Florida (1100+ miles) and this thing was a savior. No complaints about legs hurting! The foot rest is adjustable at different angles and it folds down when not in use. Its solid plastic, not flimsy. My only qualm is when its folded down it doesnt leave that much space. It can be awkward while my daughter tries to get in her seat without stepping on the plastic part. 100% recommend for anyone who travels frequently with kids.

We previously took a 3 hour road trip and my son complained about pain in his legs. So when we decided to take a 20 hour cross country road trip, we got this for him and he had no complaints. Recommend!

This product is really good for your kids comfort on longer trips, and may help with their hip joints when they are older.
