    Greater than one week

Was very hard to install with my daughters car seat. But after a while of uncomfortable positioning I got it in. When she puts a little pressure on the stand part it tilts forward. If I adjust it lower to prevent this then her feet dangle and defeats the purpose of the product. But it’s ok

We traveled the summer with our kids across the country and this was worth the money. We have used it for several trips now; 12 hours or more. It adjust to size the child, and well their feet rest! They did not complain of numb feet once and we would drive for hours. It is flimsy so we have our children step on top of the pole to sit instead of the actual foot rest part. We traveled for over a day, several restroom stops, and every time they stepped on the pole. It has not broken yet. I do not use it for daily car rides. I think it would be a hassle to use it every day since is not a product you can just have your child step on because it does look like it would break. I give it 5 starts because it has been a trip changer for us. Whenever we make a trip out of town we use it and has worked for us.

But my daughter and I were exciting about this product. The main reason...it will keep her feet off of the back of my seat, which is really annoying and gets the seat dirty, especially in the winter. So, assembly was pretty straight forward. Th locking flaps/latches were a little tricky to close (this was a bad sign), but I got it put together without too much hassle. Installing it was fairly simple, though you will have to pull out your car seat to do this. At this point things seemed to pretty decent...well, that was until I tried to adjust the foot rest to make way for the kids to pass through. This is a really important feature as there really isnt much room with the foot rest down. When I tried to adjust the foot rest by pressing the two buttons provided, they would budge...then one would release, but the other would....this was annoying (and it kills your fingers!)...you could get one to release, but the opposite one would get stuck...what the....what?!?!? This has been an ongoing battle and I almost ripped the thing out in an IKEA parking lot to smash it to bits, but gave myself a timeout and came back to it a second try (after my fingers stopped crying out in pain...lol j/k) and was able to get both pins to release the foot rest. With that said, my daughter does like it and it seems to work as intended.... BUT HOLY MOUSE POOP, THE THING DRIVE MY NUTS, when you have three kids in a parking lot and you just want to get them in the car and go! I do have hope that the pins will release easer in time and usage...hopefully!

My granddaughter should really appreciate this footrest. Her feet wont just hang off the car seat. Im a little leery that they are plastic. Im hoping that it is a sturdy plastic. She sat in the seat and they seem fine, but we had to ask her to not use them as a stepstool to get into the seat because we think they may break under her weight. Well have to see.

Takes so much room the in back seat, however, my toddler looks comfortable in while car ride.

Should come standard with children. Once you figure out the right placement of platform it’s cake. They can also climb in better using it.

I always thought dangling our sons lower legs wont be comfortable for him every time when we went for a long ride for vacations especially for camping out. I bought this for a long commute to our sons elementary school due to moved to a new home recently about 15 miles away from his school with heavy traffic on 405 HWY. I asked him how he liked this food rest. He said its good. After that while I kept driving, he told me twice I really like this without me asking him. He also told me that its comfortable. I told my husband about it and he wants one for his car too. Im buying one more.

If you travel a lot with kids, this is a must have. I travel a lot and my son used to complain about his legs hurting. Ever since we got this he has never complained about it again.

I waited to review this until we had used it a while. I bought it for my 4 year old for Christmas, and it is now almost June. We travel long distances, and this has really helped make her ride more comfortable. It takes a little bit of trial and error to install it and adjust it for your childs optimal comfort, but its fairly straightforward. I love it because now my child doesnt put her feet on the back of the seats in front, which not only cuts down on the wear and tear on our vehicle, but it also would help prevent an impact injury to her ankles/knees in case of a car accident because she doesnt have her legs braced straight in front of her. What I dont like is that because we have a dirt parking area/driveway, the grit/sand from her shoes gets in all the crevices of the moving parts of this (the adjustment buttons/etc.), and makes it very difficult to adjust later. I have to take it out, clean out the grit, and then adjust it. I actually had to unscrew the covers on the footrest buttons to get the grit out of the springs inside. Its a little troublesome, but I figure such is rural life. The grit/sand also scrubs the shiny finish on the plastic, but that doesnt bother me at all. I would still buy it again even knowing now that the grit/sand is a little obnoxious.
