I drive a Minicooper Countryman and this thing was complete hell to put in my car. The latch was just within reach but I was unable to clip them. I know it comes with a no latch option but the option to latch just seems more secure. Once latched and set up it seems the front of my car seat is not as sturdy as it was on my leather seats. I know its because of the slippery plastic on the base of this thing. My car seat does not move much but the front is not solidly immovable like it was. My carseat is the Nuna Rava which is a very good seat that I have been using for a year now. I just wanted to support my childs feet and legs while he rode in his seat. I will see how this goes and may increase my rating but right now Im tired and missed an outing with my Son because it took me almost an hour setting this up.

We bought these foot rests for my 3 and 5 year olds so that they would be more comfortable in the car and keep their feet off of the seats in front of them. They were VERY easy to install and have stood up excellently to the abuse that only small children are capable of dishing out. I definitely recommend them!

These are impossible to get to stay still. The idea is a great one, and when my children are completely still, and they dont move under them, theyre great. But it doesnt seem to matter how much I adjust them, they move after 5 minutes. Its really annoying. If gluing them to my seats were an option, they would be awesome, lol, but its not. Im not going to give up on them though. Should I come up with a solution to keep them from shifting when feet are on them, Ill share it with you! I need these to work, for some reason, my childrens legs hurt after sitting in the car seat for more than 10 minutes, when they have their legs propped up from these, it helps so much! If you have any ideas to help these stay still for me, please let me know!

On several of our recent long car trips, my daughter (5) had been complaining that her legs hurt. It translated to us having to stop multiple times, and of course I hated to see my kid in pain. The way the carseat is positioned, her legs are just dangling over the edge, so its no wonder it becomes uncomfortable. We just returned from a road trip to Florida (1100+ miles) and this thing was a savior. No complaints about legs hurting! The foot rest is adjustable at different angles and it folds down when not in use. Its solid plastic, not flimsy. My only qualm is when its folded down it doesnt leave that much space. It can be awkward while my daughter tries to get in her seat without stepping on the plastic part. 100% recommend for anyone who travels frequently with kids.
