> 24 hourThis particular set is giving me a little trouble though. The tips are pointy in theory but like with all Zings they kinda clip the tip so that the point is squared. That is ok for sport weight and heavier yarn but I’m having trouble with fingering weight and sock yarn and it’s a SOCK SET based on the needle sizes so sigh... these won’t be my go-to set. They’re still a fine quality and nice weight and they’re so pretty!! They sure make for nice photos!

> 24 hourI am enjoying the needles very much. Slick, but not so slick that I worry about them slipping out of the stitches. The joins from the needle tips to the main part of the needle are nice and smooth. I like the color coding because 1. the colors are pretty; and 2. the different colors also keeps me from mistakenly using needles of different sizes on the same project. The tips are not as pointy as Knitters Prides Karbonz needles, but that is fine for how I work.

> 24 hourI really like the color of the needles - the points are silver, but the body of each one is a bright color. This really helps the stitches stand out when knitting. Would suggest not using them with the exact same color yarn as that may prove problematic. The only issue I would note is that every time I use double pointed needles I have an urge to each oriental foods as they remind me of chop sticks!

> 24 hourThese is a great set of needles. I have other double pointed needles but since I have this set, I’ve haven’t used the others. Their point is sharp. Every size has a different color and every needle has the size etched along the “body”. I’m very happy with them

> 24 hourI love these needles. The points are excellent for picking up stitches, especially sock yarn. I mostly knit socks on the smaller needles. The bright colors of the needles aid in seeing dark yarns too!

> 24 hourI bought these because a friend of mine was using them and they looked pretty. I realize that’s not a good reason to purchase knitting needles, but I did. The price for six sets of sock needles from sizes from 0-3 was unbeatable. The tips are well tapered and slick. The barrel is brushed aluminum and has just the right amount of drag to keep your stitches in the needles, yet not impede knitting them quickly. For such light needles they seem remarkably sturdy. No DPNs last forever without breaking or bending, but these should last for a goodly amount of time.

> 24 hourI love those DPNs for plain sock knitting or hats because they do have a balanced tip that isn’t too pointy. Note that they may not be your primary choice if you wanted to do lace. Recommend

> 24 hourThese are my new favorite sock needles. I had been using the Knitpicks metal dpns, but I think these are better because theyre color-coded with the sizes printed on them, and they come in a small attractive zippered case. I wish they were a little pointier, but they do a good job gripping the yarn without dropping stitches. (I never waste money on wood or bamboo sock needles any more because I know Ill break them right away.)
