Knowledge Adventure Jump Start 4th Grade

I bought this for my Great Nephew to give him a solid foundation of the skills learned., yet not fully mastered. This, , like other JumpStarts Programs, initially gives Students/your Child, the firm basis to grasp concepts before presenting critical thinking situations to challenge their abilities for mastery of new concepts. I bought this to help him acquire these skills for 5th grade in September. I am a retired Elementary/Early Childhood Educator.

This is not music. I wanted music of multiplication to help my daughter memorize her multiplication. This is a badly made video game. I do not recommend it.

This game is about the right level for most 4th graders. I do happen to ask my parents for hints sometimes. The only problem is that the geography game is hard. Most other games I enjoy. If you have a 4th grader, I reccommend you buy this for him/her.

Some of the problems assume its the same year as this came out.

my advanced 9 year old enjoyed this, although she complained about some slowness in how the game moved. She finished it in 4 days (about an hour a day after she was done with homework); she says it was somewhat challenging, but I think since she finished it in 4 days without my help, it couldve been a little more challenging. still, it served its purpose: reinforce what shes learning in school. Jump Start was useful for her in the preschool-3rd grade programs.

We are a homeschooling family. The Jump start series has been wonderful. My three children are all working above grade level and love to learn. I just purchased the Jump start 4th and 5th grade and I am happy to say that finally something is challenging my kids.

as with the sixth grade jumpstart kids love it.
