> 3 dayThis wire is awesome! As other reviewers have said, it IS TRUE 0 GAUGE!!!! The 5000+ strands are copper, and coated in a silver tinning. I dont have a use for them yet, but I bought them for a future project which I hope I get to do. Im going to use this as my main and only power run from the battery to the splitter, than do 2-4 gauge runs to 2 separate amps. This is heavy duty cable! Rated for 300 amps, but can be good for 350 easily. Comes with a 5 foot ground cable of the same size, a fuse holder with a 300 amp fuse in it, 4 ring terminals and the plastic shrink for them, and a couple grommets as the pic shows and about 7 or 8 feet of the black plastic wire cover for the run of the cable under the hood to the battery. I bought another supposedly 0 gauge kit for some of the parts in it, but its less than half of the thickness of this true gauge kit. Its not cheap, but is 100% worth it for the quality of what you get.

> 3 dayI love this kit. I used this for my first car audio BIG 4 kit. It was barely just enough. Its quality and function were exactly what I was expecting based on the description and the price of the product. Small note this though, it comes with 300A fuse, Im using a stock alternator maxed with a max of 125A so I swapped the inline fuse with a 100A fuse. Also make sure you have a blowtorch and some solder in your toolbox to properly fix the wire to the terminal connectors. Its legit and I recommend it.

> 3 dayI bought 8 gauge speaker wire by this same brand and they were great. Started having an issue with my cca power wire causing my amp to go into protect mode so I decided to upgrade to ofc and got this kit. I am really impressed with the quality and value. I love that they even included rubber gromets to put in the hole that runs through the firewall in order to keep the wire protected. And I like that this kit is just the power and ground wires since I dont need the speaker wires or RCA cables. Ofc wire gives you over 200 watts more power than CCA and I can definitely feel the difference. Sounds like my subs are trying to blow my gas cap cover off lol I definitely recommend this product!
KnuKonceptz Kolossus OFC 0 Gauge Power Amp Install Kit
The KnuKonceptz Kolossus 0 gauge amp kit features our top of the line Tinned Oxygen Free Copper Kolossus power and ground wire. Made up of ultra flexible PVC and ultra fine tinned strands of oxygen free copper (OFC), the Kolossus Kable is the standard for which all others are compared to.

How many watts can this amp kit handle? At KnuKonceptz, we do not use "watts" to rate our amp kits. This is a very inaccurate method to determine what the proper gauge wire required for your amp installation. Many amp manufactures do not represent the output of their product accurately in watts. Please refer to your amplifier"s fuse rating, this is a number a manufacture can not fake, well they could but it would put their product in harms way! Add up the fuses on the end of your amp (Three 80A fuses = 240A total draw) If this number is under 300A, this kit will fit your application.

- Wire type - CCA or OFC
These materials are commonly used, but not commonly stated when shopping online. Know what you are purchasing. Both metals are capable of performing up to their rated loads.
- American Wire Gauge
Wire gauge is crucial to powering your system correctly. Undersized cable will create unsafe conditions and may shorten your amplifier"s life.
- Max Load (amps)
Wire"s ampacity changes with gauge and materials. KnuKonceptz does not rate cable based on watts. Amplifier manufactures do not always truthfully state the output of their product, check your on board fuses!
True American Wire Gauge (AWG) Products
- Using American Wire Gauge standards, the gauge of stranded wire is determined by the total area of the conductor.
- To calculate this you would take the area of each strand and add it together. This area, in square mm, then determines gauge.
- Diameter is not as critical with stranded wire, this is due to the tiny air gaps between each strand. Diameter may fluctuate with strand size and how tightly wound the rope of the cable is.
- The smaller the number, the larger the wire, until you reach zero or aught (0). From zero, you then have double aught (00 or 2/0), three aught (000 or 3/0) ...
- Based on AWG, the true gauge of this cable is 0 Gauge
Tinned Copper - What the Pros Recommend
- When bare copper is exposed to oxygen, it oxidizes over time (turns brown/green).
- These contaminants are damaging to the cable"s ability to conduct electricity.
- Tin provides a protective barrier from oxygen to the bare copper underneath.
- By adding a thin layer of tin to each strand, the cable is no longer able to oxidize.
- Tin does not react with oxygen and therefore the cable will never change color or have any change in its ability to conduct electricity
