OK. Here is the deal. The Cub Cadet manual says to use a 24-050-10 fuel filter. Going online it says the 24-050-13 is the replacement for it. Fine. So I go to Amazon and buy a genuine Kohoar fuel filter (24-050-13). I go to my lawn tractor get ready to make the swap and I see the filter on there is a 24-050-09. This is also claimed to be replaced by the 24-050-13. Fine. So I start to remove the -09 and as Im doing this I see that the size of the plastic port that Im pulling out of the fuel line is significantly larger. This product says its for a 1/4 ID fuel line and assuming my line is 1/4 Im not sure what is going on. Now that both are out. The -09 (the original) and the -13 (new one. There are not close in size of the port. So I would say that this -13 is NOT a replacement for the -09 I removed. I ended up going to Home Depot and getting a generic. It is not as large but it was clear the plastic ports were much closer in size to my -09 filter. I installed the generic without trouble and will use it. Time will tell if it is right. I just wanted to tell people that this might not be right for them.
