Kohler 25 050 22-S1 Engine Fuel Filter 51 Micron with 1/4-inch Fuel Line Inside Diameter

Replaced the fuel filter on a Cub Cadet with a KT725 Kohler engine. The owner had replaced it with a JD filter the dealer gave him which seems to possibly be too restrictive. This was the original OEM replacement filter and worked just fine. While it did ultimately end up not being the true problem, its peace of mind to know that the wrong filter he had originally installed wasnt restricting fuel flow too much. Installation is straightforward and simple - re-use the fuel line and clamps and it has barbed fittings on either end. Straight swap, no modifications needed at all. If the fuel line and other parts are in good shape, you should be good to go. Shouldnt take more than a minute to replace.

I usually buy the universal filter for my Club Cadet but went ahead and got the OEM since i was ordering the oil filter also......works great and fits.

Be very careful when ordering fuel and air filters for Kohler engines on Amazon. I received units for a a different engine model than what I thought I had entered when searching on Amazon. Did not realize it was wrong until I when to install them. Read the descriptions on Amazon very carefully to be sure what you are ordering.

Not a lot to say, I determined the correct part from the Cub Cadet site and it was available from Amazon for a good price. Fits as intended. If this fits your engine I would definitely recommend it.
