Best tape I ever had

Useful

I have used and really like this tape. It has super smooth coil and recoil operation. I have not used it in the mud yet, though. If when I do and if it, works good after mud situations then, I will give it a 5 star rating.

great tape for oilfield use

Case felt good in my hand. However, the hooked tab has a lot of slop and therefore tape cant give an accurate measure. Blade is thinner than most and has a built in curve instead of laying flat. Maybe slightly better quality than the free Harbor Freight tapes you get at their stores. If you are looking for a cheap throw away tape on sale then this would be ok, as long as you dont mind being 1/8 off on your measurement. Wouldnt pay more than about five bucks though.

Hubby loves it, he works in construction so its exactly what he needed.

Handy

Tape measure was described as only having faulty packaging. The tape measure has a bad crack in it. Very sad as this was supposed to be a gift for my husband .
