Spend an extra buck or two and get one in Lowes or Home Depot. This thing is as cheap as they come.

as expected

i should have gotten on of these sooner. makes measurements a breeze with using a calculator for conversions.

Needed a metric tape measure for a specific job I was involved with, did what I had hoped, didnt need to convert US to metric for all of my measurements.

As expected

Appears to be pretty high quality. The plastic case feels solid, the clip feels strong, the tape movement is smooth and the lock is secure. The tape itself is made of quality material printed very clearly, sharp numbers with large red number every 10cm and feet markers. Even the label is made of quality material that is hard to scratch and has very high resolution print. It just feels in your hand like a tape that youd expect to cost several times as much. There is a springy piece of plastic, a bumper, at the opening so when the tape retracts fully and quickly it doesnt slam agains hard plastic, but against this little bumper, thats attention to detail.
