KONG CS9 Scratcher Refill for Incline and Double Cat Toy (2 Pack)

My cats prefer scratching cardboard rather than the carpeted poles. They do leave cardboard pieces on teh floor as they wear off, but at least its not pieces of my furniture! I dont use the holders and just buy the refills. You can reverse them so they are evenly worn and get more use out of them. Highly recommended. Just put them in the areas where you see your cat wanting to mark his territory and he will happily use these instead.

the cat destroyed his old one and these replacements are good. wish they were a little tighter cardboard and less easy to destroy..

After buying a gazillion different scratchy posts, scratchy toys etc that my cat totally ignored....I bought this inexpensive cardboard angled scratcher and my cat loves it! She goes at it on this thing and I have to admit I have gone through about one refill a month because she literally shreds it, but the flip side is that this could be my furniture, so Kong scratcher it is. I also put 2 - 5lb weights inside the holder so she doesnt move it around so much. And dont forget to take out the catnip in it I forgot one time and kitty discovered it and was high for days. Best kitty scratcher ever!

Cats love these. They sleep on them, watch T.V. on them and of course use them as a scratcher. The 2 pack comes with catnip also.

Its cardboard for scratching so obviously my cats liked it. But these are refills for their incline scratcher and they dont fit exactly. They stick out a little because theyre just a fraction of an inch too long. I tried jamming it in the thing but it just wouldnt lay flat. Like I said, its for scratching so it isnt a big deal but it is a little annoying.

These were too wide for our two scratchers but they were easily cut to size, so they worked out fine. The length was correct.

I bought the KONG Naturals Incline Scratcher Cat Toy and the scratcher refill fit perfectly. Looking at the reviews before hand it seems like I have the newer model because the width and height where exactly the same as the one that came with the product and it works great. My cats love it and always scratch at the cardboard after I fill it with catnip of course. Anyways, I suggest making sure your KONG incline scratched is the same model as the refills to make sure it fits correctly if not, we laid the other one on the floor and the cats used it just fine, or tie some string along the top and have it hang off a door handle. Just a suggestion for those who dont feel like cutting the cardboard down to size.

This refill for the Kong scratcher is a great idea and my cats love it.

They last better than other ones Ive tried.
