Nice firm hold on my cell phone.

Great product, the magnets are really strong to hold your phone in place. The only reason I have it 4 stars is because the paint on the top coat starts chipping and it looks kinda tacky. But it does what it’s supposed to very well.

I love using these metal plates rather than the ones that comes with my magnet mounts. Since these seems to have a thicker metal place, whatever magnet I used, it would take a better hold with the magnet. I WOULD RECOMMEND THESE! Plan to buy more to replace all of my other metal plates. Only downside is that since they are a little thicker, they might not slip inside a case like some are supposed to do. So I use the adhesive that comes with the plates and they are strong and reliable.

I just pop this setup into a CD player in any car Im driving, and pop my phone onto the magnet and it stays. Its great for speaker calls and directions. It comes with two magnets, so my partner can use it too.
