Used it for the first time to make a 9 cake and its amazing how much easier it is to frost! Ive been missing out but then again im not a regular baker. Would suggest getting one... key is to add a piece of round parchment to fit the stand, cut it half before you add the cake on top and start frosting. that way, you dont get frosting all over the cake stand and easier to lift off and remove the parchment (since its cut in half) when added to a plate. :)

I had previously purchased a plastic turner which was low and did not turn well. I decided it was worth the extra money to get a better quality stand. This one is great. It has good height to it and it is very sturdy. It turns well without skipping. The only thing I would like to have had was some sort of brake to keep it in place. There were times I couldnt keep it still, since both my hands were busy doing other things. Thats the only reason I didnt give 5 stars.

Product is solid, turns easily, looks great - overall a good buy for an all-around cake stand. Hard to tell from product photos, but its heavy and well-built to last. Its a tank. I only wish the turntable could be detached from the stand for easier clean up. Ive been wanting a stand to decorate and serve the occasional layer cake, and this fits the bill. Not exactly travel-friendly, but Ive done it carefully. Or you could get a cake travel thingy with a lid, but its not the same thing. I cant see decorating on this stand, putting it in a travel case, then putting it back on the stand for serving, but I guess people do that if you use round cake boards to move the cake back and forth??

I didn’t like the fact that the turn table kept moving when I needed it to be stationary while designing. I had to tape it into position.

I love this. It’s heavy so it doesn’t wobble or shake when frosting your cake. Unlike the plastic one which I also have. I plan on getting more of these metal ones!

The first time I made the cake table revolve I fell in love. Its such a smooth turn. No wiggle no wobble. Shiny and beautiful. So beautiful that I gave her a name haha. I am beyond pleased with this cake turn table stand.

I have been using cheap plastic low profile turn tables for years. This one is sturdy, smooth turning and soooo much nicer!!
