> 3 dayUPDATE: Found out the things seem to work a whole lot better if you re-format them as exfat (extended FAT.) Maybe some of the people who own USB flash drives from other companies got them formatted as exfat and didnt know? Anyway, I need these as I said below, and didnt realize they were formatted as FAT32; once I re-formatted them they perform as expected. --Original review-- 761 Kb/Sec copying 15,000 files from an 8.1 GB ISO. Bought these because the Kootion 8GB were too small (have been reading that the Kootion 32GB are slow and also unreliable.) Buyer beware! Thought these would be helpful, but NOT if they are so slow!!!!!! Maybe the company would consider fixing this and sending me some that actually perform better? ;)

> 3 dayPassed all fraud tests. Real deal. MS no longer does “Recovery Disks”. Now they do “Recovery Drives” and they are computer specific. This cheaply let me make a recovery drive for every computer in the house! Finally.

> 3 dayI uploaded photos taken at a Bat Mitzvah so that everybody would have copies. The upload speed was a tad slow for my taste.

Greater than one week*Every* drive from this purchase failed with unrecoverable sectors on Windows 7, Windows 10, and Mint v21. None of the drives presented errors when they were reformatted (variously to FAT32, exFAT32, and/or NTFS), but all of them failed when trying to read data of various sizes. The drives responded at extremely slow speeds, seemingly slower than USB 1 speeds; I couldnt tell if this was error recovery attempts or just the drive being absurdly slow. (And frankly didnt want to invest any more of my time in investigating...) TL;DR: Dont waste your money on these drives - theyre not worth the cost even if they were given away for free, as they dont reliably store data.

> 3 dayDidnt need large thumb-drives, but needed a bunch at a reasonable price. Needed to be good quality too, because theyre going to be stored away for posterity with tons of data by year. I like them so much Im going to get more.

> 3 dayIve purchased these several times and they work great - no issues. Im cheap and while I dont like the slow USB 2.0 writing speed, theyre perfect for my needs.
